We offer products for use at frequencies 50 MHz and above which are designed for weak signal and satellite applications. These product offerings are constantly changing as we migrate our commercial designs to meet Amateur Radio product needs into the microwave frequencies.
So thanks for visiting but be sure to return often to see what’s new.
We’re often asked why we don’t supply our products in kit form. Kits are fine for the person who has the proper assembly and soldering experience, and the test equipment needed to build a finished product that performs properly.
These days the best performing components, both active and passive, are very small and intended for high volume, automatic “pick and place” assembly and reflow or wave soldering techniques. Can you handle a microwave device that is 3mm square that is intended for reflow soldering and solder it properly?
To “tweak” noise figure you need a Noise Figure meter. To align a filter you need a Network Analyzer. To verify spectral performance you need a Spectrum Analyzer. To tune for gain you need a Power Meter. Without these resources, the kit product you built might not give the results you deserve and paid for.
Since many Amateurs and experimenters don’t have these needed resources, we believe offering the market a properly assembled, fully tuned and tested device in a RF shielded enclosure, ready to be turned on and put into use, saves a lot of “frustration” and angry moments. We wonder how many RF/microwave kits never make it into service.
Since our product heritage is in the commercial and satellite marketplace, you’ll be assured of state of the art design and performance in a professional package, ready to give you the performance your expecting.
